Welcome!

My name is Hollie Moore, I am a journalist from Winston-Salem, NC. I currently am a reporter for the Charleston Regional Business Journal covering business, government, construction and more throughout Charleston, S.C. as well as the state of South Carolina. 

With CRBJ, I have won first place in news reporting, first place in business reporting and third place in in-depth reporting for the South Carolina Press Association.

I finished my bachelor's degree at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC where I have both a major in journalism and a major in public relations along with two minors of American Sign Language and criminal justice. 

I have had the opportunities to immerse myself in not only journalistic writing, but also composing press releases, writing and collecting data research, editing video and media through Adobe applications and produce full projects of multimedia content for social media strategy. 

On my free time you can find me cycling, reading, catching up on the latest season of Law & Order: SVU or crocheting with my cat, Tank.
